Audiologists Clare Kewney and Hearing Care Assistant Bradley Snelling run the Buxton Hearing Centre. Other staff include receptionist Lisa Hadfield and Hearing Care Assistant Martha Callaghan.

Clare Kewney

With her roots in Audiology, Clare has been working with individuals’ hearing needs since 1997. As a highly-qualified professional, she is proud to be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Clare received fellowship status from the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists (BSHAA). She also hold membership within National Community Hearing Association (NCHA).

With extensive experience both in NHS settings as well as private healthcare practices over many years, Clare’s expertise spans across all methods for earwax removal including microsuctioning, irrigation and instrumentation techniques.

She also holds specialisations in hearing technology plus tinnitus advising; further solidified by regular lectures at Mary Hare School for Deaf pupils amongst other invitations through UK Audiology Ltd.

Rory Kewney

As a highly regarded audiologist with over 25 years of experience in all aspects of hearing care, Rory has dedicated his career to helping patients recover from ear wax blockages related pain and discomfort.

He was formerly an Audiology Lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University and the Clinical Director for a national healthcare company, as well as being elected onto BSHAA council (the professional body) where he serves 3 terms.

Furthermore, Rory continues to teach at Mary Hare School for the Deaf while providing exceptional quality but affordable patient-centred services that benefit the local community.

Bradley Snelling

Four years ago, Bradley retrained as an HCA and clinical ear care specialist after spending 25 years running music festivals, urban festivals, film festivals and managing various people.

He trained at major hearing aid manufacturer Starkey and is BSHAA qualified.

He is fully qualified in microsuction, irrigation and instrumentation. Bradley is also qualified to perform hearing tests, service hearing aids and other hear care services.
